Does my accounting data get uploaded to the cloud?
No. The Tally2BI Bridge keeps a private copy of your books on the computer that runs Tally, and your browser reads reports directly from it. Only the text of a question you type is sent to our servers, so we can work out which report you mean.
Which versions of Tally are supported?
Tally Prime with its local connection switched on (F1 → Settings → Connectivity → Client/Server configuration → set TallyPrime to act as 'Both', port 9000). The Bridge runs on Windows 10 and 11.
Can I use Tally2BI from my phone or from home?
Today Tally2BI works in a browser on the same computer that runs Tally and the Bridge. Secure remote access from other devices is on our roadmap.
How fresh is the data?
The Bridge syncs automatically every few minutes while Tally is running, and you can trigger a sync at any time. After the first full sync, only changed records are fetched.
Do I need to know Tally to use it?
No. Ask in plain English, or click any report in the sidebar. Filters such as dates, parties and amounts are filled in for you.
Can I manage more than one company?
Yes. Every company open in Tally is available in the company picker; switch between them in one click.
What does it cost?
Every account starts with 10K free tokens. After that you buy token packs from $5 — no subscription, no seat fees, and tokens never expire.

What are tokens?
Tokens are how Tally2BI measures work. Asking a question in plain English uses tokens; your balance goes down by exactly what each action costs.
Do tokens expire?
No. Tokens never expire. Use them at your own pace.
How do I check my balance?
Sign in and open the Tokens page. It shows your remaining balance and breaks down where every token went.
What happens when I run out?
You can still sign in, run reports and look around — your Bridge, data and saved views all stay exactly as they are. What stops is asking questions in plain English, and you'll be asked to add tokens the next time you try. Buy any pack and you're back within seconds.
Do I get charged for things that are not AI?
Running reports and syncing Tally happen on your own computer, so they are free. Saving views and other account actions draw a very small amount from your balance. Every charge is itemised on your Tokens page, and there is no seat fee on top.
Refund policy?
Unused tokens are refundable within 30 days of purchase. Contact us and we will sort it out.
